After more than 40 years in corporate America, navigating the complexities of engineering, manufacturing, and global leadership, I reached a turning point. It wasn't about retiring; it was about reframing. I felt called to create something of my own that could help others navigate their own journeys.
West Egg Living is the result of that call—a space dedicated to living intentionally, especially as we enter the most meaningful chapters of our lives.
The Journey from Corporate Career to Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurship
My story began in the world of engineering and operations—a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where precision, efficiency, and strategy were everything. For over 40 years, I led teams, managed budgets, and optimized systems across massive organizations. I loved the challenge of solving complex problems, and I am incredibly proud of the teams we built and the achievements we reached.

However, as I approached my late 50s, a new feeling began to emerge. It wasn't a desire to slow down, but a growing sense that I needed to redirect my energy. I wanted to use the strategic thinking and leadership skills I'd honed over decades to create something more personal—something that could directly impact how people experience their 'second half' of life.
The decision to launch West Egg Living came from this realization. I saw so many people my age who felt either invisible or overlooked by a culture obsessed with youth. I knew there was a different story to be told: one where age brings clarity, confidence, and the ability to design a life with intention.
A Grounded, Authentic Life
Beyond the titles and the business goals, I am a husband, a father, and a grandfather. These roles are the core of who I am and the lens through which I see the world. I believe that personal growth and contribution are lifelong pursuits.
Whether I'm volunteering as a tax aide, teaching financial literacy classes, or simply staying active outdoors, I'm driven by a desire to serve. West Egg Living is an extension of that service—it's my way of sharing what I've learned to help others build their own legacies and live with greater purpose every single day.
